About Us

Empowering small business owners and fostering entrepreneurial growth.

About Rappahannock Economic Development Corporation

Founded in 1983, Rappahannock Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) is a nonprofit, 501(c)4 certified development company serving Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and parts of West Virginia.

We specialize in providing long-term, fixed-rate financing through the SBA 504 Loan Program for the purchase and renovation of commercial real estate and equipment.

The 504 Loan Program can also be used to refinance real estate, with the ability to access additional funding for improvements and certain other eligible business expenses.

We work with business owners throughout the full loan application life cycle, managing the loan from processing to servicing. With over 41 years of SBA 504 lending experience, we offer personalized guidance and support, helping business owners build equity and preserve working capital for growth and operations.
