REDCO Unveils New Logo and Website

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Rappahannock Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) is proud to announce the launch of its refreshed brand and redesigned website, marking a major milestone as the organization prepares for 2025. This update reflects REDCO’s growth, values, and commitment to supporting small businesses and fostering economic development across Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Since its founding in 1983, REDCO has grown from a regional resource into a trusted, multi-state Certified Development Company (CDC). For over 40 years, REDCO has delivered SBA 504 loans that help businesses secure financing to grow, create jobs, and strengthen their communities.

“As REDCO expands, we saw an opportunity to evolve our brand and better share our story,” said Joe DiStefano, President of REDCO. “This isn’t just about a new look – it’s about ensuring our brand reflects who we are, what we stand for, and the impact we’re making. Our values – integrity, excellence, community, and inclusiveness – are at the core of everything we do, and those are represented in our new logo and website.”

The refreshed brand features a modern, circular logo with vibrant colors – red, orange, purple, and blue. “Thriving communities are full of color and life, and we wanted a logo that reflects that,” said DiStefano. Each shade represents diversity, trust, energy, and creativity, while the circular design symbolizes REDCO’s role as a unifier, connecting small businesses, lending partners, and communities to foster growth.

REDCO’s redesigned website enhances accessibility and usability for stakeholders, offering:

  • Improved User Experience: Streamlined navigation and clear content to help visitors quickly access resources, loan program details, and tools.
  • Impact Stories: Highlighting small businesses REDCO has supported and showcasing community impact.
  • Dynamic Resources: Quick access to current lending rates, program information, and news to better serve business owners and partners.

“As we move into 2025, REDCO remains dedicated to building trust, strengthening relationships, and driving economic growth,” DiStefano added. “Our new brand and website allow us to share the small business successes and community impacts that matter most. These stories are at the heart of what we do and why we continue to push forward.”
